Before unpacking your newly purchased machine, make sure to choose an appropriate environment to place it. Make sure you respect the following guidelines:

• Use a robust and stable table or desk to place under the machine.
• Make sure this table or desk stands on a solid floor.
• Make sure the height of the table makes it possible to use the machine in a safe way. If you plan to stand upright when using the machine, then choose a table which gives you good access without having to bend over.
• There should be at least 20 cm of free space left, right and behind the machine.
• Do not put any object on the machine covers.
• The room temperature has to be between 10°C and 40°C.
• Use the original power cable which was supplied with the machine and if possible do not use an extension cord.
• If you have to use an extension cord, use only one, and make sure the cord is not longer than the distance you have to cover. Also make sure this extension cord has the correct wire section.
• Make sure your wall outlet is properly secured with a circuit breaker.
• Use a power outlet with a decent ground connection.
