The Cyborg X-300 is capable of performing all kinds of rotary engravings in plastics, phenolics, wood, etc. It can also engrave good engraver’s quality brass and aluminium. With metals, always try out first which depth can comfortably be achieved with a specific cutting width. The sharpness of the cutter, in combination with the correct cutting angles for the intended material to be engraved, are of utmost importance.

With the optional “diamond drag” engraving tool, it is possible to diamond scratch different kinds of metals, including aluminium and steel. This technique is especially useful to engrave texts into the pre-etched black or coloured fields of machine identification tags or motor plates.
