Removing the electronics cover
The electronics cover, as indicated by the green rectangle in the image on the right, protects all the machine’s electronics against contact by the operator and against dust and chips.
In order to be able to start removing the cover, the machine has to be connected to a computer on which the virtual pendent software is configured and registered.
Step 1

Switch on machine and computer.
Home the spindle, then, using the jog keys, move the spindle to approximately the middle of the X-axis and all the way to the front of the machine (see image on the right below).
Step 2
Remove the M4 screw with the black plastic cover support, indicated by the yellow arrow in the bottom right corner of the image on the right.
Remove the M4 buttonhead screw, indicated by a blue arrow (top left corner in the image). Attention: when putting the screws aside, be careful not to mix the screws indicated by a green arrow with the one indicated with a blue arrow. They look the same, but the one indicated with a blue arrow is slightly shorter and must be replaced on the same spot when re-assembling.
Now you can slide Y-axis belt cover on the left hand side off and put it to the side along with the screws, as shown in the picture on the right.

Step 3
Remove the M4 screw with the black plastic cover support, indicated by a yellow arrow (lower left-hand corner of the image on the right).

Step 4
Remove the four button head M4 screws on the right of the machine (indicated by green arrows in the image on the right).

Step 5
Remove the three M4 buttonhead screws at the rear of the machine, indicated by a green arrow in the image on the right.

Remove the four M5 buttonhead screws at the front of the large electronics cover (see image below right).

The large electronics cover is now free, but in order to be able to remove it, two little screws have to be removed, which fix the end of the e-chain to the frame. First gently cut loose the 2 straps which fix the cables to thee-chain. (see images below).

Step 6
Gently lift the cover up by the 2 lips, one on the left of the cover and one on the right (see image on the right).

Gently shift the cover to the left under the e-chain as shown in the image below.
