Find machine origin
The “Find Machine Origin” function returns each axis to the machine home position. The Spindle Head Assembly will move to the left rear of the engraving table.
Finding Machine Home.
Press the SHIFT and then the GO HOME hot keys to index the spindle, the engraving table, and the Z assembly when:
a) The machine has just been turned on.
b) The machine has stalled (lost position).
Important note: before using this key combination, and even before switching on the machine you have to check the position of the spindle.
It has to be positioned exactly above the upper left corner of the engraving table. On the back side of the X-motor and the Y-motor there is a black knob with a small engraved line.
Make sure that these engraved lines correspond with the black lines on the little engraved plates on the machine chassis.
After having verified the alignment position of the motors switch on the machine and hit the SHIFT and then the GO HOME keys.
Keypad status line display:
“Homing Z …”, then “Homing Y…”, and then “Homing X…”
The display will show each axis coordinate to be 0.0 when the targets are located.
