The View menu

The first three options are checkboxes. By selecting each one, you will activate or deactivate that function. The image to the right shows the View menu with the Display Object Outlinges and Show Pause Points options checked.

• Display Object Outlines:
  • Activating will have a dashed line appear around text lines and images. This will make it easier for the operator to visualise and compare the positions of text lines and image boxes.
  • Deactivating will give you a clearer view of what the engraved end result will actually look like.
• Pointer Ruler Guides
  • Activating this will turn you mouse cursor into a crosshair.
  • Deactivating will have your cursor return to the standard arrow-shaped Windows cursor.
• Show Pause Points
  • Activating it will make the colour of your text alternate between black and red. Each colour change indicates a pause instruction. The machine will stop engraving, the spindle will return to its up position and stop rotating, allowing the operator to exchange cutters.
  • Deactivating it will show all texts in black.

The last option is not a checkbox. The > arrow on the right will show you the batches from which you can choose.
