====== 2.4 Installing the software ======

==== Hardware requirements ====

You can use whichever PC or laptop with a Windows operating system as server for your Cyborg X-200. Your PC has to have:

  * a free and working Ethernet port.
  * a mouse with at least two buttons and a keyboard.
  * a monitor with minimum HD resolution.
  * Enough free harddisk space.
  * a free USB port.

==== The operating system ====

The following Windows versions are supported:

  * Windows 11 professional (no home or enterprise licenses).

==== The Switch ====

If the Cyborg X-200 has to be integrated into a LAN (local area network), then the PC needs a second ethernet port, which can be configured into a netwerk switch.
